My husband and I have just returned from a lovely holiday. When went to visit family in Armidale the Norther Table Lands - Australia. I made this card for my Mom-in-law with whom we stayed with for the most of our time.

In October last year I held a card making class at my home using the Embrace Life stamp set.

Card classes are a great way to learn new techniques and to meet people with similar interest.

This card class was classified as a level 1 in difficulty ( 1 being easy 10 being difficult) the cards only took 3 hrs to make 3 of each design.

The Xmas wreath is made using the Ski Slop Designer Series paper (old) and the Circle Scissor Plus cutting system is (New) in the Summer Mini.

The Circle Scissor plus in ideal for cutting and drawing the perfect circle and adding them to your project is so easy.

I have also used Real Red ribbon and clear Rhinestone Brads.

Gift Card Holder I Wish

Here is a small gift card holder made from the I Wish D/S paper it is so easy to make and you can yes and kind of 12 x 12 Card Stock or D/S paper this ideas is also great for a Birthday, Wedding well just about any occasion.

Method:
Take a piece of D/S paper 12 x 12 and measure it and cut at 9.5cm wide the score some fold lines at 7cm then at 14 cm, 21cm and 28cm. Fold the over 3 time you will have a 3.5cm edge. Attache some D/S paper 3cm long x 10.5 wide scalloped the edge and attach to the card. Then place the reindeer border to conceal the join. decorate as desired.

This is what the gift card will look like open.

No 8 My Wish List Note Book

This is my wish list note book that I made. I carry it around in my handbag and make notes of gifts ideas for friends and family and of course gifts for myself.
It is really cute and handy to have.
The design is not my original idea and you can find the instruction on how to make this note book here.

I have used the D/S paper from I Wish Simply Scrappin Kit and just plain printing paper. Old Olive card stock and the die-cut is also from the I Wish Simply Scrappin Kit.

Shooting Star Card No7

Ok ! So we are nearly coming to the end of the I Wish Simply Scrappin' card posts and after today I will be posting the treat bag and gift holder

Method:
The base card today is Chocolate Chip the next layer is Real Red 14cm x 9.5cm layered that on 13.5cm x 9cm I Wish D/S paper from the I Wish kit. Adhere this to the Real Red NOW before you adhere to the Chocolate Chip wined some silver cord or thread anchor it down at the back of the Real Red with some snail now adhere it to the Chocolate Chip.

Punch out 2 x squares in Real Red and 2 x small square Old Olive adhere the small Old Olive to the larger Real Red and now you can add the small square snow flake die-cuts to the center. Adhere the squares to the card as shown. Remove a few stars from the die-cut and adhere to the card.

How appropriate that today's card has December 25th on it as it is exactly one month till Xmas.

Method:
Base card is Old Olive adhere a strip of the I Wish D/S paper 14.cm x 5.5cm the adhere the strips of die-cuts that where cut earlier in the directions on preparing the pack to make the cards. Remove the " sticky" with talcum powder adhere stampin dimensionals and adhere to card as show. Place the star die-cut one large red and one small green.

No 5 Star Card

It feels like this week is going on forever....it's only Tuesday and I thought it was Wednesday all day!!!!grrrr I wish it was Wednesday!!!

I wish the weeks away as I so look forward to the weekends and the time I can spend in my " craft room" without having to rush off to work.

Anyway here is today's card enjoy.........

Today's card is a more of a masculine Christmas card I always find it hard to find a nice card for my male family members but I think this one has a nice feel to it! (if I may say so my self)

Method:
The base card is Whisper White with Chocolate chip14cm x 9.5cm Chocolate Chips layer.
First you need to punch a circle in the Chocolate Chip card using the 1 1/4" circle punch. Adhere the chocolate Chip to the Whisper White base card and place the die cut in the center of the punched circle as shown. Remove the "sticky" from the Star die cut and place a few Stampin Dimensional's to the back. Adhere the scalloped edge and the green die cut on the left side.
Now you can place the star on the card.

Hope you can drop by tomorrow the real Wednesday lol...

Method:
With your Real Red base card in hand take your corner rounder punch round the corners of the Old Olive and Real Red card, place a strip die cut of the scallop red and the cream on the Old Olive card as shown.

Remove the scalloped circle die cut - remove the "sticky" from the back (with talcum powder) and adhere the other circle die cut to the other as shown .

Add the stanpin' dimensionals to the back and adhere to the card. Stamp the words Season's Greetings in Old Olive ink and stamp on the Old Olive card.

Today is a much cooler I think yesterday is was around the 40 degrees (104 Fahrenheit) and today it will be around 32. Yesterday we had another dust storm so my back yard looks like a sand pit at the moment lol.

Today's card is another card from the I wish Simply Scrappin' kit series (details posted below) In the kit amongst the die cuts you will find the long strips of sticky matching die cuts (their will be 2 sheets) for now cut one complete sheet so the strips will measure 14cm long.

Method:

Take your (pre-cut) Real Red card stock for the your base card and use one of the pieces of pre-cut Whisper White card stock 9.5cm x 14cm

Adhere the cherry panel and then the scalloped red panel to the Whisper White card as show.

Remove the self adhesive decoration and apply talcum powder to the back to remove the"sticky" adhere 2 Stampin Dimensionals to the back thread through some silver cord or ribbon of your choice.

Before you adhere the decoration to the card add some snail adhesive to the back of the card to secure the silver cord.

Adhere the decoration then adhere the Whisper White card to the Real Red and that's it your card is complete.

Merry Christmas Card No 1

Take one of the folded Whisper White Base cards and cut from the Real Red card stock that measures 14cm x 9.5cm and cut a square 6cm x 7cm and from the green double side paper cut a square 5.5cm x 6.5cm adhere this to the piece of Real Red and the adhere this to the card as shown.

Remove the chocolate self- adhesive decoration die cut and rub the back of the die cut with talcum powder to remove the sticky from the back. Adhere 3 stampin' dimensionals to the back and adhere as shown.

Ink the words "Merry Christmas" from Merry Merry Messages in Real Red ans stamp as shown.

And that's it so simple!

from the I WISH SIMPLY SCRAPPIN' KIT.

The idea was to make cards and gifts maximising most of the pack with not much left over this is to let you see that these kits are so economical and cost effective.

First Things First

Instructions:

The first thing you need do is take the Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and Real Red 12" x 12" textured card stock and cut into A4 you will be left with a strip measuring 9.3cm x 30.5cm(12").

You know need to cut this strip into 2 x 14.3cm lengths( this will be use for some of the layering and embellishment for you cards).

Now cut you A4 cards in half A5 score and fold, these will form the base for you cards you should have 2 of each colour (2 Old Olive, 2 Real Red, 2 Whisper White, and 2 Chocolate Chip).

Now this is all done you are ready to assemble youf cards.

A New Fresh Look

I have had the opportunity to spend sometime on my blog which is very neglected I was up till 1:30am last night just to get a start on it. So I have moved a few things around to given it a fresh new look. I am hoping to add more things and make a few improvements.

I just wish I had more time to spend on my blog and stamping than I do, but working full time work does not give me that luxury.Oh! one can only dream....

I have made this cards for a Splitcoast Stampers colour challenge and thought I would share my card with you.

Card Stock and measurements:

Whisper White - scrapes

Pink Pirouette - 14.9cm x 21cm score and fold to create the base card. And a 7cm x 7cm

Chocolate Chip - 1x 10cm x 14cm
1x 7.5cm x 7.5cm

Walk In The Park Designer Series Paper - 9 cm x 13.5cm

Stamp Set - A Great Friend

Accessories - Matt Pack, paper piercer, Stampin' Dimensionals, snail adhesive, buttons bouquet pink and a Stampin Majig.

Ink- Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip

Take the Pink Pirouette base card and stamp the leaf from the Great Friend stamp set and stamp the image repeatedly in Pink Pirouette ink to cover the card.
Adhere the Walk In The Park D/S 9cm x 13.5cm D/S paper the the 10cm x 14cm Chocolate Chip card adhere this to the Pink Pirouette base card.

Using the Matt pack and paper piercer, pierce holes in the 7cm x 7cm Pink pirouette card using the Matt Pack template as a guide, adhere this to the 7.5cm x 7.5cm Chocolate Chip card. Now adhere this to the card as shown.

Ink the butterfly from the Great Friend stamp set in Kiwi Kiss and stamp the butterfly 3 times on Whisper White C/S remember to ink up each time before you stamp. Cut out the butterflies and adhere stampin' dimensionals to the back of each set aside.

Stamp the frame in Chocolate Chip ink then using the Stampin' Majig position the words in the center of the frame in Kiwi Kiss ink.

Cut out the frame, adhere a dimensionals to the back of the frame and adhere to the 7cm x 7cm Pink pirouette card now adhere the butterflies as shown in the photo.

Take 2 of the pink flower buttons and thread the lined tread through and tie a knot to secure. Adhere the buttons to the card using the mini glue dots.

I am had some left over Windsor Knot DS paper left over...you know we all have scarps of paper lying around and wonder what we are going to to with them! So I mad this card using the cute elephant from the Wild About You Stamp Set.

Stamp Sets: Wild About You and Weathered

Ink: Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip

Card Stock : Sage Shadow, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and
Windsor Knot Designer Series Paper.

Method: Ink the weather Background stamp with Sage Shadow ink and Stamp on card base.

Cut two piece of scrap Windsor Knot paper 8cm x6 1/2cm and the other 6 1/2cm x 61/2 cm and mount on Chocolate Chip Card Stock.Tie a pieces of Whisper white grosgrain ribbon adhere to Sage Shadow card as shown.

Ink the elephant in Sage Shadow and stamp onto whisper white card stock7cm x 51/2cm. Re-ink the elephant again in Chocolate Chip and stamp on to a scrap of Whisper White cut out the ear and adhere to Sage shadow elephant.

Cover the chocolate chip ear with 2 way glue pen and then cove with dazzling diamonds. Adhere this to the Chocolate Chip 7 1/2cm x 6cm.

Adhere this the card as shown.

Hi there !
It has been an amazing weekend I have just returned from our annual Stamping Up! Conference and it was amazing. I have come back with my brain swimming with new and exciting ideas that I am looking forward to sharing with you all over the next few months.

At conference not only do we get the opportunity to learn new things and to catch up with old friends we also get free stuff!!!!!!! We all love free stuff. One of the things we receive is a convention bag this is the on we received this year. I think it's the best one yet. The colours are Old Olive and Chocolate Chip.

Liz also very kindly made me this lovely tag for my bag. The reason it is an angel wing is because our group of Demonstrators is called the Paper Angels. Cool name hay!

I am not really a scrapbooker but I thought I would give it a try. This is a picture of my brother and his family who live in Dubai. The picture was taken in my home town Durban, South Africa which is based on the east cost of South Africa.

As I sit here in my new home town Griffith, NSW Australia (in the freezing cold) I can only dream of the warm summer months. So the memories of the beach and the cool water are the inspiration for this page.

I do find these colour challenges so inspiring.

I have use Oh so lovely stamp set from Stampin Up!

I have stamped the linen background in Certainly Celery on Whisper White card and then stamped the stem flower in Real Rust, using my sponge dauber I have used Close to Coco to sponge around the stamped image.

This is then layered on Close to Coco and Chocolate Chip and adhered to the Real Rust card. I then used the paper piercing kit and joined the dots with my white gel pen for the faux stitching.

The card is embellished with Certainly Celery ribbon and brads.

Seeing Spots Black and White

This card is made using the Seeing Spots and Think Happy Thoughts stamp sets.

I cut a piece of Whisper White 9.5cm x 14cm and stamped the images from Seeing spots randomly on the white card with Basic Black ink. I then cut 2 strips of black card 1cm x 9.5cm and adhered them to the card as shown, leaving a gap for the ribbon and Happy Birthday sentiment.

I then stamped Happy Birthday in black on whisper white punched the centre out with the small star punch and then used the circle punch to punch the Happy Birthday out. This was then placed on a larger circle of black.

Using my cropodile I punched 2 holes in the centre side by side so I could thread my gingham ribbon through either hole and tie a not. Either side of the ribbons are attached to the back of the whisper white card and secured down with adhesive the whisper white card is then adhered to the Black base card.

The colours we had to use were Sahara sand, so saffron and wild wasabi.

Time Well Spent

Last night our group of Stampin Up! demonstrators in the Riverina got together to share stamping ideas and and have a evening of fun!

So that we can all build up our card samples to take to workshops I set a challenge that the swap needed to be a card using one of the hostess sets from the from 2008 catalogue.

This is what I cam up with using the Level 3 hostess stamp set Time Well Spent.

Card Stock: Whisper White, Soft Sky and Chocolate Chip

Stamp sets: Time Well Spent and Polka dot and Paisley

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Scallop punch, 3.5cm and 3.2 cm Circle punches, dazzling diamonds and a 2 way gel pen.

Ribbon : Chocolate Chip

Fun Flowers

The card for today's post is using the Simply Said stamp set. The little flowers are stamped using Basic Black ink on whisper white and the flowers are coloured in using a bashful blue marker. The larger flower is stamped 3 times with Certainly Celery ink on whisper white and cut out. I have set silver eyelets using my cropodile. The flowers are set on So Saffron punched out with the medium circle punch.

The "thank you" has been stamped with Bashful blue and punched out using the small oval punch and then adhered with dimensional's to the larger So Saffron card, punched with the large oval punch.

The bottom of the card is stamped with the tiny dots from Itty Bitty background stamp using certainly celery ink.

Stampin Up ! Convention

Hi all I am off to the annual Stampin Up ! convention today.
I am leaving Griffith this morning and will be arriving in Brisbane this afternoon to be united with my girlfriend Julie who I haven't seen since last year, in Sydney at the last convention.

At convention demonstrators make cards to swap with other demonstrators from all over Australia. It's creates a opportunity to meet new people and be united with old friends.

This is the card that i will be taking with me to swap. I have used the Faux tearing technique which i learnt from a great blog that i visit often Dawns Stampin thoughts. So please go and visit her sight it's great.

I have used the Stamp set called Bud basics and warm words. Regal rose, certainly celery and whisper white card stock. Certainly Celery ribbon and the large and small oval punch.

Stamp And Resist

Hay there!

Here is a cute idea a cute carry bag for sweets or chocolate.

The Bag is made using Kraft paper measuring cm x cm.

Scoring at 12.5cm, 15cm and 27cm this when folded will make the outer bag.
I then stamped the Flower from the All Natural stamp set randomly over whisper white using Versa Mark and embossed the flowers with white embossing powder. Using my sponge dabbers a sponge blush blossom and close to coco inks to completely cover the card. I then took a soft tissue and rubbed over the flowers to make them "pop" I then swiped my close to coco ink pad over the flowers to create more depth. You might have to click on the image to get a closer look. I cut the stamped image down to 7cm x 11cm and mounted it onto chocolate chip. The flap was covered using left over when I cut the card down to fit the front of the bag.

The chocolate chip ribbon is placed behind the image I then cut a slit in the top of the bag and puled the ribbon threw to then tie bow on the top. The bag is kept closed with a small piece of velcro.

Hi again!

Since I have been away from my blog for so long I have decided to have a double post today. I have now caught up with all the house work and odd jobs and have had a bit of time for stamping.

My friend Liz came around this afternoon and had a bit of fun stamping and since she has been away on holidays we had a lot off catching up to do.

So this is what I have been up to. Lately I have been trying to experiment with a few different designs and this is one of them.

This cards is made using Barely Banana as the base card, basic black and cameo coral, quite a nice combination I think. The stamp is from the Summer Mini Catalogue and is called French Flair.

If you would like the instructions for this card please let me know and I will post them.

Just Chocolate

Hay there...wondering where I have been???? Just so busy getting back into the routine of work again. Jut not enough hours in the day!!! I guess most of us feel the same.

I really like the effect of just using one colour, especially chocolate chip. The base card is chocolate chip. I then cut very vanilla just smaller than the card front so it would leave a border of chocolate chip about 1mm all the way round.

I stamped the flower from Friendship bloom stamp set in chocolate chip.

I then punched a square out of a vary vanilla card using my large square punch and then trimmed around it.

I stamped the flourish from Friendship Blooms tied the chocolate ribbon and adhered it to a larger square of chocolate chip.

I then mounted it onto the very vanilla with dimensionals.

Finished it off with the words stamped in chocolate chip and again mounted it using dimensionals from Stampin Up!

Valentine Goodies

Hay there!

Sorry for not posting yesterday the day just ran away with me. I had a lovely day stamping with my friend Sandra all morning. It's so nice to stamp and have fun with friends.

And a received good news! I have a job and start on Monday it will be 30hrs a week just perfect. Which will leave me time for Stamping up! and preparing workshops ect.

Well here is something different goodie bags for close friends or loved one's. The hearts are from the Dream Come True stamp set. It seems that this is the only "love" on I have.

The bags are filled with Jaffa's.

I am not a chocolate fan but these are good!

More Flowers From The Garden

Hi there!

Here is another card from the stamp set Long -Time Friend. I coloured the the image using Night of Navy, taken with teal and elegant eggplant.

The image is matted onto taken with teal and black. I inked up the paisley background stamp in basic black and stamped it onto taken with teal and mounted it onto black card and then onto the base card which is rose red.

Here is a close up of the image coloured in.

This time I used my aqua painter and ink from my

ink pads.

Something From The Garden

Hello there how are you card makers?
Hope you had a great weekend.

My husband Mark was home for the weekend and has gone back to Wagga Wagga for more training.

We had rain which was so greatly needed for the farms as we are in a really bad drought at the moment.

Our neighbours went away for the weekend and left us to take care of there puppy dog she is so cut. I am not really a small dog lover but she has a lovely nature. We took her for long walks in the morning and evening it was lovely to get out and enjoy the cooler weather.

It can get so hot here that it makes it really difficult to get out and walk as it is just to hot.

Anyway enough yakking about stuff... the fresh rain reminded me of all the flowers that bloom and how it makes everything grow so this card was inspired by the rain and the garden.

The stamp set is from the Summer Mini Catalogue and it is called Long-Time Friend.

I stamped the image on water colour paper and coloured it in using water colour wonder crayons (earth elements) The matt card is close to coco and the base card is old olive.

Thees cute little notes are made using the Carte Postale stamp set form the Summer Mini. The base cards are stamped in rose red. The little flowers where coloured in using the marker.

The notes measure 71/2 cm X 51/2 cm.

I attached doubles side tape to the back so they can be easily attached to a gift without the use of and envelope.

I had a bit of a crazy day yesterday and did not sleep well the night before. I should have just got up and gone into the stamping room, except I layer there thinking of card designs. ..lol.

Anyway here is the card for today.

This is a stamp set from last years Sale-A-Bration it is called Delight in Life...it's just lovely. I stamped the flower on whisper white and yes ...I have coloured it in using the water colour wonder crayons ...just love them.............

The whisper white with the images are then layered on elegant eggplant and the base card is bordering on blue. The words "Happy Birthday" are form the stamp set Simple Sayings 2.

Time Well Spent

Had a good weekend I hope?

It was lovely to have Mark home for the weekend it was just lovely and we had a great time. I must say I am finding it a bit of an adjustment having him home at "normal" hours but so glad to have him with me after all thees years of working crazy hours.

He left again this morning for his 2 hour drive to work so will be looking forward to him returning on Friday. So from now till then I guess I will be stamping...................Yippee.

This is what I have been up to today hope you like it.

This Stamp set is the level 3 hostess from the new 2008 - 2009 catty which will be launched in April. Every year Stampin Up! sends us demonstrators a gift around Christmas and this year it was this stamp set Time well spent, it's so cute and fun.

The box was downloaded from the Stampin Up! web site as a demonstrator I have access to all these fabulous resources.

I first stamped the words with Sazon on very vanilla card and coloured the words in with my markers ,mellow moss and ballet blue.

The vanilla card was then layered on Mellow moss and ballet blue card. I wrapped the hemp twine round the button and tied a knot, adhering it to the card with crystal effects.

The silver eyelets where then attached and moss gingham ribbon threaded through and tied into a bow.

The background of the box was stamped using the little flower from the same stamp set using mellow moss ink.

Little Notes

Hope you are having a great weekend.
It has cooled down a bit today after being around 37 degrees yesterday sooo..... hot. We had a bit of rain not much but it has helped to keep the temperature down a bit today. Mark and spent the morning in the garden it was lovely, nothing like having you hands in the dirt....
I have been pondering for a while if I should buy this stamp set but I could not help myself and just had to have it...so glad I did it arrived in the mail on Moday.
I first inked up the roller in pretty in pink and rolled it onto pretty in pink card. The dragon fly was stamped using Stazon and coloured in with my water colour wonder crayons....I think I am addicted to them..lol. I mounted the image onto sage shadow and use my paper piercer down the side. The flower is not Stampin Up! but creates just the finish I was looking for. The words where stamped in black and mounted onto sage shadow with dimensionals. The background was created using my white gel pen and black stampin maker.
My hubby is off tomorrow for more training so guess what ???
Let the stamping frenzy begin!!!!!

Wonderful Flowers

Seeing I had the colours out to make a box I thought I might as well make a card (not quite matching). This is a stamp set is called Mostly Flowers I thing it might be retired in the US but is still available in the AU catty. I have used this stamp set so much I thinks I have almost worn it out.

The base card rose red is stamped with the canvas background using rose red ink. I then stamped the flowers on whisper white with rose red ink 3 times and mounted them on taken with teal.

The 3 images where then placed onto certainly celery and then again onto taken with teal. I have stamped the word wonderful in rose red and mounted it onto certainly celery finishing off with matching ribbon.

Stamping Frenzy

Hello ! Wondering where I have been well i have been in a
Stamping frenzy since Monday Stamping all day and night.......This is one of my fun creations. Being a Stanping up demonstrator we have access to amazing creations and templates. This is a box from our friends at Stampin up!
The box is made with Regal rose, Taken with teal and Certainly celery and Whisper White. I first stamped the cake from "Birthday Whimsy" on whisper white cut it out and mounted it on with dimensional to Certainly celery and the Taken with teal. The ribbon is from the "sweet shop", ribbon originals.
It's hard so see but the bottom of the box is stamped using the Paisley back ground stamp, you might have to zoom in to take a better look.
The top of the box is decorated using a strip of Certainly celery and scalloped with a corner round punch. And finally to finish it off I used certainly celery brads.

Hello how is your Monday going??? Well I got my hubby off to work this morning to his new job. All very exciting so far he is having a good day.

As promised here are more Sassy Stems this card was made using elegant eggplant, rose red and so saffron.

The rose red panel was stamped using the flower repeatedly in rose red ink. The flowers where coloured in using water colour wonder crayons. The larger flower was stamped again and coloured in and then raised using dimensionals jut to give that extra 2 dimensional look .

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

I have been preparing to get my hubby ready for his week in the "Big smoke" is going to a town just 2 hours away to conduct is training before he starts his job here in town. I am sure I will miss him but it will give me more time to STAMP Yippee!!!!!

Here is the first in the series of cards I made using Sassy Stems form the AU catty. I first stamped the flowers in basic black on ballet blue card to create the background. The whole image was then stamped on whisper whit card with basic black and coloured in using my favorite! Water Colour wonder crayons from Stampin up! I have spritzed the the background with a chocolate chip marker. The Whisper white card was then layered on Ballet Blue and So Saffron.

Hey how are we all? Hope you are having a lovely weekend. I just wanted to share another card with you from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. I have used Friendship Blooms and Lot's of thoughts. I first stamped the flower with Always Artichoke twice on Very Vanilla and decorated the center with Dazzling Diamonds. The swirls are stamped randomly on a panel of Very Vanilla.
The words from Lots of thoughts is also stamped on very vanilla and layer on Always Artichoke card.

Well Sale-A-Bration is here it's such and exciting time for hostesses and customers.

This little card is made using mellow moss, so saffron, perfect plum and brocade blue. Stamp sets Friendship blooms and Lots of thoughts both from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.

Sorry for the short post today but it's soooooo hot can't bear to be at the computer for to long. The air conditioner is not even helping today it's so hot.

Way out of the box!

Ok here goes...what do you think? I am not sure if I like it or hate it but thought I needed to try something new.
The colours used are basic black, regal rose and whisper white. The stamps set it from Sale-A-Bration "Birthday Whimsy" such a cute stamp set I can see i will get so much use out of it.
Sorry i haven't been around for a few days as I have had my husband home sick. He's ok just flue..feeling much better today and back at work.

Teddy Bears

I really like this stamp set but haven't had much time to us it of late but have come up with this quick and simple layout for that card on the run. If you are anything like me they are always handy.
I stamped the teddy in night of navy on very vanilla card 3 times and punched it out using the 32cm square punched and mounted on a 35cm square night of navy card. The images are mounted on bravo burgundy and placed on Kraft card. To finish it off I have used bravo burgundy ribbon and silver brads. The Happy Birthday is stamped with night of navy ink and placed on night of navy card.

Merry Christmas to you all hope you had a lovely day filled with fun and happiness.

My husband Mark and I spent the day with some dear friends as we have no family to share Christmas with us. My family liven in South African so we spend our day with close friends. It was a lovely day. To much food of course!

This is the prawn starter we had for lunch yesterday it was delicious followed my the usual turkey and ham, roasted vegetables and the rest.....

Birthday Tractor

For all those little boys amongst us!

I designed this cards for all little boys who love trucks and tractors and the big boys of course.
The card is made using Kraft, always artichoke so saffron and whisper white card stock. The tractor is stamped using always artichoke on whisper white. I stamped the tractor again using basic black on whisper white and carefully cut out the tyre mounting then card using dimensional's. The always artichoke card is spritzed using always artichoke makers and the spritzing tool.

The tag was made by colouring the Happy Birthday stamp form All-Year-Cheer 2 using so saffron and always artichoke makers. I punched out the words with the tag punch and then mounted it onto so saffron card and attached to the card with hemp twine as shown.

Gif Tags

My husband Mark wanted to give a small gift to his colleagues in his office as a token of appreciation as he will be leaving the Hospitality industry after 24 years and entering the world of retail. It's going to be a big change for us but a good one at that. We will be able to have a "normal" life together as he won't be working the long hours hospitality demands. I thought I would share the gifts and tags with you.
The tags are made using the Holy Spirit stamp set from the current AU catalogue. The tree is stamped using Night of navy ink stamped off twice and the words "be merry" are in Night of navy. I then punched out the image using the tag punch which comes in very handy at this time of the year. The images are stamped on whisper white and then mounted on brushed silver card stock. The tags are then attached to bag using the silver cord, from Stampin Up! of course.

Loads Of Love

I have uses the Loads of Love stamp set for the Australian 2007 - 2008 catalogue. The truck has been stamped on whisper white and coloured in using and pumpkins using watercolour wonder crayons and a aqua painter. I then used crystal effect on the tyres and pumpkins and added the dazzling diamonds.

I have stamped the canvas background stamp with pumpkin pie ink on the pumpkin pie card just to cover the top part of the card. I have then layered the old olive card across the middle and stamped the pumpkins repeatedly across the bottom using pumpkin pie ink.

I adhered the truck image to ot quite navy card, wrapped the black grosgrain ribbon and tied it in place. I then stamped Happy harvest in black and clear embossed it and then added 2 silver brads for added effect.

I really enjoy using dazzling diamonds as it give such a great effect to a finished card.
